1st Day

1st Day at Bali is over. We had lunch at local restaurant near hotel.
Dinner was buffet style at the hotel.
Lunch was very good but portion was big.
I couldn't have dinner as I was still full from lunch.

Bali

Now I'm in Bali for my work.
Checked in hotel at around mid-night.
Temparature is nice, not too humid.
I'm staying at Laguna Resort & Spa and very nice♪

Last Day of Holiday weekend

Wednesday was the last day of long weekend.
Went to hair cut which took 4hours in total.....
On my way to the salon, I saw some Koinobori decoration on the river.
Shame it was raining...

One Rainy Day

Today I went to a navy base hoping to get Rollerblades but there was none of them.

Protector was on sale so I got a set of it.

My husband was working at the base so I asked him to pick me up.After finishing shopping, what we had was "Pouring Rain" and "Traffic Jam".

But still better than staying at home ;-)

Short hike @ Kamakura

On Monday, I went to Kamakura.
Kamakura is one of the historical places that has lots of old temples and shrines.

May is one of the best season in Kanto Area, with flowers, new green leaves.
I took one of the hiking courses and it took me about 3hours in total.

Starting from Kitakamakura Station -
Tokeiji Temple - Jochiji Temple - Kuzuharagaoka Shrine - Genjiyama Park -
Kewaizaka Pass - Kaizoji Temple - Eishoji Temple - Jufukuji Temple -
(Crepe Stand) - (Creemee Stand) - Kamakura Station

Main street near the Kamakura station was very crowded as it's golden week
in Japan (National holiday May03-06) but the area I went was less people,
very quiet.

There are many different hiking course in this area so I need to go back to try
the different course. Autumn must be great for that with lots of red leaves.

Kodomono-hi

May05 is Japanese National holiday, called kodomono-hi,
children's day.
And Kashiwamochi is "KING" of Japanese sweets for me.
It's in store only around this holiday. I buy this sweets every year.
Of course this year, too.
