Back to Normal
After a short business trip to Bali, my life is now back to normal.

1st Day
1st Day at Bali is over. We had lunch at local restaurant near hotel.
Dinner was buffet style at the hotel.
Lunch was very good but portion was big.
I couldn't have dinner as I was still full from lunch.

Now I'm in Bali for my work.
Checked in hotel at around mid-night.
Temparature is nice, not too humid.
I'm staying at Laguna Resort & Spa and very nice♪

Last Day of Holiday weekend
Wednesday was the last day of long weekend.
Went to hair cut which took 4hours in total.....
On my way to the salon, I saw some Koinobori decoration on the river.
Shame it was raining...

One Rainy Day
Today I went to a navy base hoping to get Rollerblades but there was none of them.
Protector was on sale so I got a set of it.
My husband was working at the base so I asked him to pick me up.After finishing shopping, what we had was "Pouring Rain" and "Traffic Jam".
But still better than staying at home ;-)

Short hike @ Kamakura

On Monday, I went to Kamakura.
Kamakura is one of the historical places that has lots of old temples and shrines.
May is one of the best season in Kanto Area, with flowers, new green leaves.
I took one of the hiking courses and it took me about 3hours in total.
Starting from Kitakamakura Station -
Tokeiji Temple - Jochiji Temple - Kuzuharagaoka Shrine - Genjiyama Park -
Kewaizaka Pass - Kaizoji Temple - Eishoji Temple - Jufukuji Temple -
(Crepe Stand) - (Creemee Stand) - Kamakura Station
Main street near the Kamakura station was very crowded as it's golden week
in Japan (National holiday May03-06) but the area I went was less people,
very quiet.
There are many different hiking course in this area so I need to go back to try
the different course. Autumn must be great for that with lots of red leaves.

Kodomono-hi
May05 is Japanese National holiday, called kodomono-hi,
children's day.
And Kashiwamochi is "KING" of Japanese sweets for me.
It's in store only around this holiday. I buy this sweets every year.

St.Valentine's Day
In Japan, St.Valentine's day is the day
that women gives presents to men.
Presents are mainly chocolates.
It's big in Japan and you see many displays of chocolate everywhere.
Even at work, school, women give chocolates
to male collegue, classmates
and some guys compete each other
how many chocolates they get on Valentine's day.
On Valentine's day, only women gives presents.
And we have White day which is Mar.14.
On this day, men give presents to women,
candies or marshmallows.
If you receive chocolates
from your co-worker on Valentine's day,
you HAVE TO give presents on white day
otherwise you will be rude ;-)

Anniversary Lunch
This month is 3years anniversary since my staff joined company
and we went to anniversary lunch together.
It was nice Italian seafood restaurant and we had a good time there.
Especially their "Dolce" was nice!
They also have cooking lesson once a month at this restaurant but
10,000 yen is ..a little bit expensive just for one lesson...

Japanese B'fast
It's been busy since last October until mid Jan.
Travelled to Taipei, Bangkok, Seoul,
Stayed for weeks in those cities,
After coming back to Japan
no weekends, No Christmas & New Year's holidays,
stayed at hotel over a week, one day stayed up almost 36hours,
1hour, 3hour sleep almost every day.
Now the project is over and days are back to normal.
And I feel like "I can and want to do more!!"
Seems like I need to keep myself busy.
So... started to going to Gym yesterday.
Don't know how long it lasts but I need exercise definitely.
And this morning,
I walked 20min to my work.
It was early morning, around 7am.
Not much traffic, not many people, clear and chilly air,
felt gooooood!
For B'fast I went to a casual Japanese restaurant and had a good meal :-)
It's gonna be a wonderful day!
I went through my previous blog and realized
the pictures I took are all
food or drink... haha....

Izakaya
Izakaya is typical Japanese drinking place that offers various kinds of drink and food.
It's casual and cheap and many Japanese workers go there after work.
We haven't gone to grocery shopping and our fridge is almost emply.
So we decided to go to Izakaya near home for dinner.
It was first time to go this restaurant and I think we won't be back again..
Foods are not great, not much selection, and they don't have Dark Beer!!
Then we went to a bar newly opened this weekend.
I ordered my favorite Martini but they didn't have Olive....
